Dr Emma Rhatigan is a Lecturer in Early Modern Literature at the University of Sheffield’s School of English. Her research focuses on 16th- and 17th-century literature, particularly early modern sermons, examining their intersections with political, religious, and performance cultures in early modern London. She is currently editing John Donne’s Inns of Court sermons for the Oxford Edition of the Sermons of John Donne, providing the first fully annotated text of these works. She also explores connections between theatrical and pulpit cultures.
