Emma Pritchard is a Senior Lecturer in Fashion Management at Solent University, based in the School of Art. She specializes in blended learning pedagogy, emphasizing practical application of theory through innovative teaching methods. Her roles include CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) Lead for the School of Art, developing industry-accredited programs across multiple disciplines. Emma holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion from the University of Southampton and an MA in International Fashion and Textiles with Marketing from the same institution, supported by a Textile Institute scholarship.
Her research focuses on inclusive learning environments, experiential education, and bridging theory-practice gaps. Notable contributions include co-developing the Horsham Market Towns Programme (2021), a EU-funded initiative supporting local businesses during the pandemic, and her involvement in the REVO CertHE qualification for retail place managers. Emma is an External Examiner for numerous fashion and business programs at institutions like the London College of Fashion, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and Istituto Marangoni.
