Emma Kindall is Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Department of Art at Ohio State University. She holds an MFA from Ohio State University (2017) and a BFA from Lyme Academy College of Fine Art. Kindall teaches courses ranging from Beginning Drawing to Advanced Painting, fostering collaborative learning environments where students connect artistic practice to lived experiences within contemporary art contexts.
Her studio practice explores personal history and cultural memory through collage, bookmaking, and animation. She examines how myths and narratives function to preserve, reinterpret, and protect interpersonal relationships within her artistic investigations.
