Emma Eyre is an Assistant Professor in the School of Science at Coventry University, affiliated with the Centre for Sport Exercise and Life Sciences. Her research focuses on physical activity interventions, motor development, and health disparities in children and special populations. She has over 10 years of experience and has authored 35+ publications.
Education: PhD in Environmental influences on physical activity and weight status in children (2014, Coventry University).
Research Interests: Exergaming, sport medicine, school interventions, and socioeconomic disparities in health behaviors. Current projects include movement/story-based interventions and badminton-based physical activity programs in primary schools.
Funding: Principal/co-investigator on grants from British Heart Foundation, British Academy, Sport England, and others. Research explores barriers to physical activity in deprived/ethnic populations.
