Emily Wang

Emily Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Resource Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research focuses on empirical industrial organization, particularly structural dynamic demand models and their applications to public policy analyses.

Current research projects examine the welfare impacts of proposed soda taxes and the incidence of these policies on households. She contributes to the Data Analytics and Computational Social Science programs at UMass Amherst.
