Emily Sidler

Emily Sidler is an Instructor in 3D Animation and Game Design at the University of the Incarnate Word. With over 6 years of industry experience, she has worked as a 3D Animator at Janimation, 2D Animator at Joe Rothenberg Animation, and Animation Supervisor at Yes! Our Kids Can. She contributes to short films in collaboration with artists from studios like Pixar and Apple TV.

Education:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation, Savannah College of Art and Design
• Animation studies with emphasis in 2D and 3D Animation, California College of the Arts

Her research interests focus on animation techniques, game design innovation, and the integration of storytelling in interactive media. She mentors students through animation internships and develops pedagogical strategies for emerging technologies.
