Emily Nicklett, Ph.D., M.S.W. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), with a courtesy affiliation in Public Health. Her research focuses on aging, chronic disease self-management (particularly type 2 diabetes), disability, community-based participatory research, environmental determinants of health, food access, health disparities, and social mobility.
