Emily Mullins is a PhD Candidate and Tutor in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. She contributes to both research and teaching activities, blending academic inquiry with educational support.
Research Focus: Her doctoral research explores the socio-psychological mechanisms driving the spread of misinformation and (mis)information. Central themes include how emotional states and social motivations influence sharing behaviors, with applications to health advice and institutional trust. This work addresses modern challenges in combating misinformation through psychological frameworks.
