Emily Kerr

Dr. Emily Kerr is a Postdoctoral Associate Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Boston University, joining the PAL program in Fall 2022. She teaches Chem 203 alongside Dr. Loy and Dr. Courtney and conducts research in the lab of Dr. Jeffries-El. Her research focuses on redox flow batteries, a key area in energy storage systems.

Dr. Kerr earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University in 2022, where she studied under Dr. Roy Gordon. Her academic background emphasizes advanced materials science and electrochemical systems.
