Emily Farina, PhD, is a Lecturer in Psychiatry at Yale University’s School of Medicine. She holds key roles as Director of Postdoctoral Training at the PRIME Clinic and Clinical Coordinator of the SAMHSA Clinical High Risk for Psychosis Program. Her research focuses on early psychosis detection, social functioning in schizophrenia, and the interplay between stress and psychotic symptoms. Farina completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Connecticut (2023), followed by a predoctoral fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. She is also a member of the Task Force for Serious Mental Illness and Severe Emotional Disturbance with the American Psychological Association.
