Emily Fairfax

Emily Fairfax is an Assistant Professor of Geography in the Department of Geography, Environment & Society at the University of Minnesota. She is affiliated with the Saint Anthony Falls Laboratory, where she investigates the intersection of ecological and hydrological systems. Her research emphasizes the role of beaver damming in creating drought- and fire-resistant landscapes through ecohydrology, remote sensing, and fieldwork.
