Emily Echols is a Staff Instructor and Project Manager at the Grisham-McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement, part of the University of Mississippi's College of Liberal Arts. She has been with the university since 2000, previously serving as Executive Assistant to the Ole Miss Alumni Association. Her current role focuses on managing the North Mississippi VISTA Project, which combats poverty through education and community partnerships. She teaches courses like EDHE 105: Freshman Year Experience and EDHE 305: Transfer Student Experience.
Emily holds a B.A. in Sociology (2013) and an M.A. in Higher Education/Student Personnel (2017), both from the University of Mississippi. Her work emphasizes synergizing campus and community resources to advance public service initiatives.
