Dr. Emily Cramer is an Associate Professor at Marquette University's Diederich College of Communication. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an M.A. from DePaul University, and a B.A. from Marquette University. Her research focuses on digital media, strategic health communication, maternal health disparities, and community engagement. She has led projects funded by grants such as the NIH's $264,034 initiative addressing health disparities in hypertensive disorders among Black women. Dr. Cramer teaches courses including Communication Research and Health Communication Campaigns. Her work emphasizes community-based participatory research to improve health outcomes through communication strategies.
