Emilio Quiñoá Cabana

Emilio Quiñoá Cabana is a Full Professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Born in Lugo, Spain, he earned his B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from USC in 1985, focusing on Marine Natural Products under Prof. Ricardo Riguera. His career spans postdoctoral work at UC Santa Cruz (1985-1988) and a Visiting Associate Professor role there in 1989-1990.
