Emilio Mendez is a Senior Advisor to the Associate Laboratory Director for the Energy & Photon Sciences Directorate at Brookhaven National Laboratory and a Professor at Stony Brook University. He is affiliated with the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook, where he joined in 1995 and served as Director of the Undergraduate Program starting 2004.

Professional Background
