Emilie Guidez

Emilie Guidez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Denver. She specializes in computational chemistry and nanomaterials, with a focus on developing advanced theoretical methods for modeling ion transport and intermolecular interactions.

• Developing multilayer adaptive partitioning methods (Q1/Q2/MM zones) for dynamic molecular simulations
• Analyzing sigma-hole interactions (halogen/chalcogen bonding) in crystals
• Predicting protein-ligand binding affinities
• Modeling CO2 reduction mechanisms on gold nanoclusters
