Emila Živković

Prof. Dr. Emila Živković is a Full Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Her office is located in the TMF building (Office 28). She was elected to her current position on June 20, 2018. She teaches courses including Special Chapters on Heat Transfer, Thermal Operations, Chemical Engineering Laboratory, and Professional Practice.

Her research expertise spans:

• Experimental thermodynamics of binary and multicomponent mixtures
• Heat transfer mechanisms in industrial systems
• Modeling of fluid properties (viscosity, density, refractive index)
• Development of UNIFAC-VISCO/ASOG-VISCO interaction parameters
• Applications in chemical process engineering and sustainable solvents

Her publications focus on predictive modeling of thermodynamic properties in systems involving esters, alcohols, ionic liquids, and glycols. Recent work emphasizes green solvents and heat transfer optimization.

She actively mentors graduate students, having supervised:
