Rutgers, The State University of New Jerseyمعرفی
Emil Yuzbashyan is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, affiliated with the School of Arts and Sciences. His primary research focuses on strongly correlated systems, superconductivity, and integrable systems. He is a member of the Graduate Faculty and teaches advanced courses including Mesoscopic Physics (Physics 682) and Solid State Physics II (Physics 602).
Yuzbashyan’s work explores new theoretical tools for understanding correlated states of matter, particularly in far-from-equilibrium regimes. His research interests include integrable models, driven-dissipative dynamics, and the interplay between topology and superconductivity. Notable contributions include studies on quantum quenches, Loschmidt echoes, and the limits of electron-phonon coupling in superconductors.
- Recognitions: Sloan Research Fellow (2006), NSF CAREER Award, Packard Fellowship, and promotions to full Professor.
- Key areas: Superconductivity theory, integrable systems, non-equilibrium quantum dynamics.
- Experimental collaborations: Trapped ion simulations of superconductors, phase diagram modeling.
He has published extensively on topics like Landau-Zener transitions, quantum chaos in integrable systems, and the theoretical boundaries of electron-phonon interactions. His work bridges fundamental theory with potential applications in quantum computing and material science.
