Emil Pricop

Dr. Emil Pricop serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Automation, Computers and Electronics at the University of Petroleum and Gas of Ploiești. His academic credentials include a PhD in Systems Engineering (awarded summa cum laude), complemented by extensive industry experience in IT infrastructure and security consulting.

Research Focus: His work spans critical areas of modern technology including cybersecurity frameworks, biometric identification systems, IoT architectures, and cloud computing security. He integrates machine learning for threat detection and pioneers human-computer interaction models. This interdisciplinary approach bridges hardware security and intelligent software solutions.
