Emil Löffler serves as a Researcher at the Chair of Business Informatics, University of Rostock, and coordinates the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (KI MV), a European Regional Development Fund initiative supporting AI adoption and technology transfer in regional small and medium enterprises.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a Business Administration focus and a 2022 Master of Science in Service Management from the University of Rostock. His Master's thesis within the PANIWO project examined participation formats for integrated product and work innovation design in SMEs.
Löffler's research centers on practical AI implementation for businesses, emphasizing innovation management and technology transfer between academia and industry. His work with KI MV directly addresses regional economic development through AI-driven solutions for SMEs.
Prior professional experience includes Environment, Health, and Safety Management at ALSTOM Service GmbH, Junior City Management at Nexobility GmbH, and an international exchange semester at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden.
