معرفی
Emanuele Rossi is a Researcher in the Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management and Transport Engineering (DIME) at the University of Genoa, specializing in Mathematical Physics (SSD MATH-04/A). He teaches Mathematical Methods for Engineering to Master's students in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs.
His research focuses on computational fluid dynamics with particular expertise in SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) simulations. His work examines complex fluid behaviors including thixo-viscoplastic fluids and suspensions of super-paramagnetic particles under magnetic fields. His research bridges mathematical physics, computational methods, and engineering applications with strong emphasis on rheology and vorticity patterns in fluid flows.
Rossi's recent publications (2021-2022) demonstrate consistent research output in fluid dynamics, showing progression from fundamental SPH methodology to applications involving magnetic fields and complex fluid rheology. His work shows increasing sophistication in modeling complex multi-physics phenomena through computational approaches.
Rossi maintains regular office hours by appointment and is actively engaged in both teaching and research activities at the University of Genoa.
