Emad Abdulahad

Emad Abdulahad serves as Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Associate Professor in the Department of Massive Structures at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACG) in Sofia, Bulgaria. His office is located in Building B, room 312.

Education:

• PhD (1998) from UACG: "Multi-storey reinforced concrete buildings under horizontal loading"
• Associate Professor qualification (2010) in Building Structures (specialty 02.15.04)
• Graduate degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering (1991)

Research Focus: His work encompasses structural analysis of reinforced concrete, building restoration techniques, in-situ structural testing, and seismic performance of high-rise structures. Primary domains include damage assessment methodologies and reconstruction of civil infrastructure.

Office Hours: Summer semester: Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00-13:00 (Building B-312). Verification week: 02-06 June 2025 at 13:00-14:00.
