Elçin ERGİN TALAKA is an Assistant Professor (Doktor Öğretim Üyesi) at Kastamonu University's College of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Musicology. She holds both full-time and part-time positions (2020-present) and serves as Department Head and Assistant Dean. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Music Education from Abant İzzet Baysal University, a Master's from Gazi University, and ongoing sociology studies at Anadolu University.
Research Focus: Her work centers on music pedagogy with specialized interests in solfege instruction, classical guitar training, Turkish folk traditions, and sociological dimensions of music education. She frequently examines adaptive teaching methodologies, including pandemic-era strategies and cognitive approaches to music learning.
