Elyse Marois is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the School of Rehabilitation, University of Montreal. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Sciences from Université Sherbrooke (2019), following an M.Sc. (2007) and B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from McGill University (1993).
Research Interests:
- Specializes in work rehabilitation for individuals with mental health disorders and musculoskeletal conditions
- Focuses on return-to-work programs, telework adaptations, and primary healthcare integration
- Explores systemic obstacles and predictive factors in disability management
Recent Publications address mixed-methods evaluations of occupational therapy interventions for mental health-related sick leave, feasibility of return-to-work programs, and adaptations of therapeutic frameworks. Her work spans qualitative studies, clinical protocols, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation models.
