Eloise Doherty

Dr. Eloise Doherty is a Lecturer (Teaching Specialist) at Flinders University's College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She holds a PhD and Master of Audiology Studies from The University of Queensland, and a Bachelor of Music (Flute Performance) from The Elder Conservatorium of Music. Her research focuses on music education's impact on auditory processing in children with hearing loss, alongside alternative academic writing methods and reflective practices in allied health.

Dr. Doherty teaches Audiology and Professional Studies courses, coordinating topics such as AUDI9100 Audiology 1 and AUDI9311 Professional Studies 2. She has presented at conferences on music education for hearing-impaired students and innovative academic writing approaches, including talks at events in 2024 on topics like 'Music and hidden treasures: Innovation as ethical imperative.'
