Elmira Partovi

Dr Elmira Partovi serves as a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Business and Law, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), where she has been employed since 2020. Previously, she held academic positions at Kent Business School and Buckingham University, teaching banking, accounting, and finance across undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels while also delivering online executive courses for Tehran University.

Her educational qualifications include:

• PhD in Banking and Finance from Kent University - Kent Business School (2019)
• Master's degree in Financial Services in Banking from University of Kent - Kent Business School (2014)

Dr Partovi's research centers on Banking, sustainable finance, economic development, and capital markets efficiency, with active projects investigating monetary transmission mechanisms, climate risk, and sustainable lending practices. Her expertise spans Islamic Banking, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, and Financial Management, contributing to sustainable economic growth frameworks.

She maintains significant academic collaborations with Coventry University, Tehran University, Exeter University, and University College London. Dr Partovi advises postgraduate students and teaches finance/banking courses at UWE Bristol, holding office hours on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 16:00.
