Elly Stolk is Professor of Measurement and Valuation of Health at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Scientific Director at the EuroQol Research Foundation. Her career spans academia and health policy, with expertise in patient-reported outcome measures and health preference methodologies.

Research Interests: Elly specializes in quality of life assessment through patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and health preference methods like Time Trade-Off (TTO) and Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE). Her work addresses nonlinear time preferences, value set obsolescence, and systematic literature analysis.
Notable Contributions: Over 100 publications, including methodological advancements in DCE design, EQ-5D applications in the MENA region, and frameworks for evaluating health-related quality of life (HRQoL) value sets. She contributes to journals as Associate Editor of Value in Health and editorial board member of Pharmacoeconomics.
Leadership & Collaboration: Co-founder of the Erasmus Choice Modelling Centre (since 2014), she bridges academic research with EuroQol’s global initiatives. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health equity and policy innovation.
