Elling W Jacobsen is a Professor at the Division of Decision and Control Systems, KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focuses on process control (mathematical modeling and control of chemical and biochemical systems) and systems biology (learning intracellular network structures and analyzing their impact on cellular robustness).
He has held academic positions at Imperial College, Caltech, and NTNU. He is affiliated with the IFAC Technical Committee on Chemical Process Control and serves on the Editorial Board of IET Systems Biology.
