Ellen Rozek

Ellen Rozek is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her academic focus spans gerontology, lifespan development, cognitive psychology, and neuropsychology.

• Education: Ph.D. (Dual-titled in Psychology and Gerontology) and M.A. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Kansas, KS; B.S. in Psychology from Drake University, IA.

Her research integrates gerontological and cognitive perspectives, emphasizing developmental psychology across the lifespan. She teaches courses such as Lifespan Development, Introduction to Clinical Neuropsychology, and the innovative First Year Seminar: Chatting With Grandmas.

Ellen actively contributes to academic engagement, including organizing Psych Hour (Fridays, 12:05–1:00 PM) and leading the Psychology Ambassadors program. She maintains regular office hours and offers virtual meetings upon request.
