Ellen McCallum is a Professor of English and Film Studies at Michigan State University's College of Arts & Letters, affiliated with the Department of English and GenCen. Her work bridges feminist/queer theory, psychoanalysis, and literary/media studies. She teaches core theory courses, queer film studies, and experimental writing seminars. Recent research includes monographs on Gertrude Stein and co-edited volumes on queer studies.
Her research interests span aesthetic ontology, queer temporality, and feminist pedagogy, with interdisciplinary focus on transmedial forms (literature/film).
