Ellen Kurtzman, Ph.D., M.P.H., R.N., FAAN, is a Professor of Health Administration at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Previously, she held positions at The George Washington University across Nursing, Public Health, and Public Policy. Her expertise spans health policy, healthcare delivery systems, and the impact of cannabis policies. Kurtzman has served in prominent fellowships, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellowship and the National Center for Health Statistics/AcademyHealth Health Policy Fellowship. She has also held senior roles in organizations like the American Red Cross and the National Quality Forum.
