Research Interests examine the gendered politics of mobility in tufo dance groups, sonic care practices in veteranos night clubs, and Indian Ocean soundworlds. Her work explores how tufo dancers navigate post-socialist constraints through aesthetic innovation and affective labor, while veteranos communities use music to negotiate aging and memory.
