Ellen Gorus is a Professor at the Department of Personality and Psychopathology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), specializing in gerontology and clinical psychology. She conducts research on Alzheimer’s disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment, active ageing in frail elderly, and suicide risk assessment in older adults, with an h-index of 21. Her clinical work focuses on cognitive and emotional assessment of geriatric patients at UZ Brussel’s Geriatric Dayhospital.
