Ella Foggitt is a Research Associate in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester, based at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. She focuses on socio-political and environmental dimensions of water, sanitation, and health, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including Gender Equality and Sustainable Cities. Her work involves interdisciplinary projects with public and private sector partners.

Research Interests: Ella’s work explores water smart communities, gender equality in WASH interventions, low-income urban sanitation challenges in Ghana, and climate change adaptation. She employs methods like Q Methodology and participatory approaches to understand community dynamics around infrastructure and policy.
