Ella Björn is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Lapland's Faculty of Art and Design, affiliated with the Multidimensional Tourism Institute and the Discipline-specific doctoral programme. Her work focuses on strategic foresight, service design, and place-making, with a particular emphasis on cultural tourism and posthumanist methodologies. She collaborates across disciplines, contributing to projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Business Finland.
Research interests include the intersection of design fiction, heritage preservation, and arts-based methods to enhance cultural tourism strategies.
