Elizabeth Zeman Kolkovich is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University Mansfield Campus. Her expertise spans Renaissance literature, theater history, and early modern women's writing, with a focus on gender, sexuality, and textual editing. She directs projects like the documentary Looking for Mariam, 1613 and contributes to the Pulter Project. Notable awards include Ohio State’s Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching and fellowships at the Huntington and Folger Libraries. Her research explores how women shaped early modern literature through writing, performance, and patronage.
Publications include the book The Elizabethan Country House Entertainment (2016) and peer-reviewed articles on topics such as Marston/Fletcher patronage, Hester Pulter’s poetry, and queer readings of Shakespearean adaptations. She edits early modern texts for Digital Renaissance Editions and Linked Early Modern Drama Online (LEMDO).
