Elizabeth Wood is a Lecturer at Weill Cornell Medicine's Graduate School of Medical Sciences, with over 25 years of experience in clinical and translational informatics. She created and developed WebCAMP, a national software platform for tracking resource utilization and researcher productivity at Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) sites, building on her work with General Clinical Research Centers (GCRCs). Her leadership in informatics resources at WCMC's Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) has driven key innovations, including the introduction of REDCap in 2006 as one of the first 10 sites in the consortium.
Collaborating with institutional groups such as the Information Technologies and Services Department (ITS) and Physician's Organization Information Services (POIS), she co-developed SUPER REDCap to integrate Epic EMR data into REDCap databases. Currently, she is spearheading the creation of a CTSC app development service to address emerging research needs through innovative digital solutions.
