Elizabeth Reese

Elizabeth Reese, PsyD, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). As a clinical neuropsychologist, she specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adult and geriatric patients with complex neurological conditions including neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular disease, movement disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. Her clinical practice integrates assessment of mood disorders and pre/post-surgical cognitive functioning.

Dr. Reese's educational foundation includes:

• Fellowship in Neuropsychology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA

Her research program investigates critical intersections between neuroplasticity mechanisms, autoimmune processes, and lifestyle interventions in neurological disease progression and healthy cognitive aging.
