Elizabeth Pringle-Hornsby

Elizabeth Pringle-Hornsby is a Part-Time Lecturer and CalSWEC Child Welfare Project Coordinator at the School of Social Work, California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She has over 20 years of experience in social work education and administration, with a focus on child welfare and student engagement.

Dr. Pringle-Hornsby previously held administrative positions at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Social Work, including Assistant Dean of Student Affairs (2004–2010), National Field Coordinator (2010–2013), and Orange County Center Director (2013–2015). She has also worked as a CalSWEC Field Consultant (2000–2004) and a Children Social Worker at Franklin County Child Services in Columbus, Ohio.

Current affiliations include roles in field education and domestic violence intervention. Her professional work spans both public and non-public child welfare settings.
