Elizabeth Morghen Sikes is Adjunct Associate Professor and Program Director for the Post-Professional OTD Program at Shenandoah University's School of Health Professions. She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Science (UAB), MSOT (East Carolina), and BS in Psychology (Kennesaw State).
Her research examines health promotion in special populations, particularly physical activity and self-efficacy in pediatric MS and restless legs syndrome. She received Shenandoah's 2021 Transformative Teaching Award for pedagogical excellence.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on MS rehabilitation, exercise interventions, and stakeholder-engaged research design. Personal interests include outdoor activities with family.
