Professor Elizabeth Manias is a Research Professor at Monash University's School of Nursing and Midwifery. She holds dual qualifications as a registered nurse and pharmacist, with expertise in health communication science, medication safety, and healthcare quality improvement. Her research focuses on patient safety, cultural diversity in healthcare, and patient-family engagement strategies. As a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and Medication Management Review (MMR) Accredited Pharmacist, she leads multidisciplinary teams in observational cohort studies, clinical audits, and intervention design.
