Elizabeth Loftus

Elizabeth Loftus is a Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Irvine, with joint appointments in the School of Law, Psychological Science, Criminology, Law & Society, and Cognitive Sciences. Renowned for her groundbreaking work on memory malleability, she has served as an expert witness in high-profile legal cases such as those involving Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and the Jeffrey Epstein affair. Her research bridges psychology and law, focusing on eyewitness testimony, courtroom procedures, and the legal implications of false memories.
