Professor Elizabeth Laycock is a Professor in Stone Conservation at Sheffield Hallam University, serving as Module Leader for Research Methods and Undergraduate Dissertation Modules. She teaches Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, and Quantity Surveying courses, with contributions to Geography and Environment programs. Her qualifications include BEng, MEd, HNC, PhD, FGSL, and FHEA.

She represents the UK on the European CEN technical committee for conservation standards and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Built Environment Research Transactions journal.
