Elizabeth J. Santos, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry with joint appointments in Psychiatry, Neurology, and Medicine (Geriatrics/Aging). As Clinical Chief of the Division of Geriatric Mental Health and Memory Care, she leads multidisciplinary teams in dementia management and elder abuse prevention. Her work bridges clinical care, education, and policy advocacy.

Research Interests: Focuses on dementia, neuropsychiatric symptoms, elder abuse, capacity evaluation, and public health advocacy. Publications highlight patient-centered dementia care, behavioral health policies, and caregiver dynamics.
