Elizabeth J. Mutzabaugh

Dr. Elizabeth J. Mutzabaugh is a Lecturer in the Department of English & World Languages at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Ph.D. in English (Literature & Criticism) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in English from Millersville University, and a B.A. in English with a Political Science minor from Millersville University. Her research focuses on 19th-century women's issues, poetry (including Louisa May Alcott, W.H. Auden, James Fenton, Dana Gioia), and British Romantic poets.

She teaches courses such as Composition (ENGL 110), Introduction to Literature (ENGL 230), and Advanced Composition (WRIT 311), emphasizing academic writing and social justice themes. Her office is located in Hash 164, and she can be reached at (717) 871-5798.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach and listening to music. She is actively involved in departmental initiatives, including advising and curriculum development.
