Elizabeth Fouts is an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Saint Anselm College.

Her research focuses on Spanish children's literature, 19th-20th century Peninsular literature, gender studies, and feminist literature. She is particularly interested in Spanish folklore and literature for children/adolescents. Currently, she is working on transcribing interviews with Elvira Lindo, author of the Manolito Gafotas series and contributor to Spanish adult fiction, journalism, and film.
