Elizabeth Forys is a Professor of Environmental Science & Biology at Eckerd College, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her research focuses on spatial ecology and endangered species conservation, particularly seabirds and shorebirds. She collaborates with students and citizen scientists to advance biodiversity preservation. Key projects include the Black Skimmer Banding Program and studies on Least Terns, Ospreys, and Brown Pelicans.
