Elizabeth Carson Pastan is a Professor of Art History at Emory University, specializing in Medieval art and architecture with a focus on stained glass and monumental imagery. She holds a Ph.D. from Brown University (1986) and an M.A. from Columbia University (1979). Her research explores intersections between text and image, the Cult of Relics, and Medievalism.
