Elizabeth Burton is a Lecturer in Fashion Design at Birmingham City University. With over a decade of industry experience, she has designed football and rugby kits for global clubs, developed lingerie and swimwear lines for a UK supermarket, and served as Design Manager for a corporate wear company, creating uniforms for airlines like Virgin Atlantic and Easyjet. Her work has earned awards at the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW Ltd).
Her research and practice focus on blending sportswear and swimwear, designing for global travelers, and integrating brand identity into corporate uniforms. She emphasizes sartorial communication and cross-cultural connections through fashion.
Education: First Class BA Honours in Fashion and Contour Design from De Montfort University.
