Elizabeth Brown

Dr. Elizabeth Brown is an Associate Professor in the School of Clinical Sciences within the Faculty of Health at Queensland University of Technology. With a research focus on radiation therapy and medical imaging, her work spans stereotactic body radiation therapy, image-guided radiation therapy, and specialized techniques for breast and head and neck cancers. She completed her PhD by Publication in 2016 with the thesis 'Biologically guided adaptive radiotherapy treatment planning for virally-mediated head and neck cancer' at QUT.

Dr. Brown's research interests center on optimizing radiation therapy delivery through advanced imaging techniques and motion management strategies. Her work particularly focuses on stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), deep inspiration breath hold (DIBH) techniques for breast cancer patients, and managing intrafraction motion in liver treatments.
